Standard Fees:

1.     Application Fee:  An application fee of $100 is due at the time the application is submitted, and it is non-refundable.  This fee is due with every new application or application for re-enrollment that is submitted after January 31st.

2.     Registration Fee:  A registration fee of $100 is due upon enrollment and is non-refundable. Registration for re-enrollment is due by the January 31st registration deadline.

3.     New Family Fee:  This $250 is a one-time, per family fee that should be paid no later than September 1st.  This fee is used for capital improvement needs such as painting, replacement of carpet, repairs to classrooms and restrooms, maintenance of our playgrounds, landscaping, etc.

4.     Resource Fee: This fee of $250 is due thirty (30) days after acceptance. This fee covers books, student association dues, certain student supplies, and classroom teaching supplements.  The book portion of this fee is a prorated fee based on some books being consumable and some lasting more than one year.  Students retain only consumable books at the end of the year.  If a student withdraws prior to the start of the year, he/she must forfeit any books or supplies covered by the resource fee.

5.     Tuition and Fees Reimbursement: Tuition is calculated on the basis of the entire year; therefore, no reduction can be made for vacations or school holidays. Tuition is not based upon daily attendance. Should a student transfer before the end of the school year, the parents are responsible for the monthly installments through the current month enrolled.   In addition, if a re-enrolled student withdraws after June 1, there is a $250 withdrawal fee.  Fees, discounts, and incidental charges are neither prorated nor refundable and cannot be allocated to the accounts of siblings.

  Extra-Curricular Fees:

1. Athletic Participation Fee:  All students participating in any CCHS sport will be assessed a $40 participation fee per sport in order to underwrite athletic expenses such as uniforms, travel fuel, supplies, etc.

2. Testing Fee: All students who participate in taking the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and/or the AP exam(s) will be charged the testing fee set by the College Board. The current cost of the PSAT is $16, and the current cost of each AP exam is $86. There are no refunds on these fees regardless of circumstance. Those taking the SAT or ACT in preparation for college admissions will pay each testing organization directly upon testing registration.

3. Graduation Fee: Seniors will order all graduation related materials, including graduation cap-and-gown, in the fall from the selected supplier. Cost for diploma is covered in the student resource fee.

4. Choral/Ensemble Fee: Those students participating in the CCHS Choir or Honors Ensemble will be required to purchase performance apparel. Students will have the option of underwriting their cost with group fundraising activities.

Making Tuition Payments & Financial Aid:

1.   Tuition Payment Plans

All families will be expected to make tuition payments according to one of the following payment plans. Each family’s preferred manner of payment must be submitted each year at the time of student registration.  Options for payment will include:

a.     Full Payment Plan: A parent/guardian my pay the entire year of tuition by June 1st. There is no discount for paying in full by June 1 or for any related fees. Those electing to pay in full will not have to pay the administration fee for using FACTS Tuition Management Plan. There is a $100 charge per child for switching from Full Payment Plan to the Monthly Payment Plan after registration.

b.     Monthly Payment Plan: Under this plan, the entire amount of tuition is paid monthly over a twelve-month period beginning in June through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan (www.factsmgt.com).  This plan is an automatic payment plan made through your checking or savings account.  Those choosing this plan will complete a FACTS Agreement Form to authorize the automatic monthly payments on either the 5th or the 20th of each month. All other fees will be paid separate from tuition.

2.   Late Registration

Families registering after June 1st will be expected to fulfill their tuition obligation according to the tuition policy stated above.  Tuition for students registering on or after the first day of school shall be prorated.

3.   Late Payment

It shall be the responsibility of each school family to keep the administrator informed of their need to make any changes in their preferred tuition payment plan or adjustments in the amount of tuition expected to be paid.  Without such information, the following policy will apply when tuition payments are received late.

a.     Late on Full Payment Plan:  If payment is not received on or before June 1, the discounted rate of tuition will not apply.  When full payment has not been made by June 1, the administrator concerning the missed payment will contact the responsible party within ten business days, and alternative tuition payment options will be offered.  If funds are not received according to a new agreement, all tuition payments must be made through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan.

b.     Late on Monthly Payment Plan: School families that choose the twelve month payment plan and miss a monthly payment due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 missed payment fee by FACTS and may incur a fee from their own financial institution.  The missed payment will be reattempted by FACTS within twenty days. In addition, school families that have missed two monthly payments and have not made suitable arrangements within fourteen calendar days of the second missed payment will be informed that their child (ren) will not be readmitted to school according to the specifications of this policy.

4.   Tuition Assistance

A limited amount of tuition assistance is available for CCHS families experiencing economic difficulties.  Normally, requests for such assistance should be made at the time of registration. However, since such circumstances are unpredictable, families should not hesitate to inform the administrator should a need arise during the year.

For the sake of family security and peace of mind, and for the general financial stability of the school, parents or guardians are encouraged to contact the administrator as soon as possible when they are experiencing economic difficulties.

Although cash contributions are the norm, other equitable arrangements are possible to enable school families to fulfill their commitment of financial support for our school.  The administrator will work out these arrangements with families on an individual basis and in a way that respects the concern and commitments of all our school families for the educational and spiritual formation of their children.

5.   Non-Admission of Students Due to Tuition Delinquency

School families failing to pay tuition or who have been unwilling to make suitable alternative arrangements with CCHS, will be informed that their child (ren) will not be readmitted to CCHS.  All families must be current in their payment of tuition.

·      If tuition is delinquent as of August 20th: Student will not be admitted on the first day of school.

·      If tuition is delinquent as of December 20th: Student will not be readmitted on the first day of class in January and will not be eligible for semester examination.

·      If tuition is delinquent as of March 20th: Student will not be readmitted on the first day of class following Spring Break.

·      If tuition is delinquent as of May 20th: Student will not receive report cards and permanent records will not be released.

·      All previously unpaid tuition must be paid by August 1 if a student is to be readmitted on the first day of class for a new school year.  Payments are to be made directly to CCHS.  If payment is not possible, suitable arrangements must be made with the administrator.

6.   Refund Policy

Application, Registration, and Resource fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. The first two (2) tuition installments are NON-REFUNDABLE if a student withdraws at any time.  Also, if a student withdraws during the school year, NO REFUND is given for the month of withdrawal.  If tuition has been paid in full, a refund will be given for the remainder of the year beginning after the first of the next month and will not include any discounts for any remaining amount of the Resource Fee if parent elected to include the Resource Fee in the tuition payment plan.
