CCHS Fine Arts
The goal of CCHS visual arts courses is to develop and foster a connection with God the creator by exploring our gift of creativity and to provide beginning, intermediate, and advanced students with a solid understanding of creative techniques that students can use to create works of art. This course will provide a solid foundation for students that wish to enjoy art as a hobby as well as the student that will pursue art as a career. Each student will also improve their ability of observation and visual organization as well as vocabulary for articulating aesthetic ideas. DRAMA (Theater Arts) Since opening the doors in 2006, CCHS has successfully performed the following shows: Neil Simon's "Fools" (2007) "The Wizard of Oz" (adaptation by Krysten Scott) (2008) Rogers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella" (2009) Broadway Musical "Annie" (2010) Vocal Fundamentals, Mixed Choir, and Honors Ensemble As part of our commitment to "excellence in Fine Art," our choral program has made great strides in representing the best of the best in musical talent.
