J-Term

WHAT IS J-Term?

J-Term is an annual two-week experience offering students various and diverse educational opportunities. These opportunities are available to students through classes, internships, and trips. J-Term provides students the occasion to explore new areas of study, experience other cultures, and serve the Lord in their local community and abroad. Our hope is that students would discover how they can use their God-given gifts and talents as they practice building community, telling the truth of God’s story, and seek to glorify Christ. J-Term challenges students to explore both traditional and non-traditional areas of study.

CLASSES

J-Term classes allow students to experience new passions and areas of study. These courses may be academic, professional, or exploratory in nature.

Every year, our staff and members of the community cover a variety of subjects and areas of interest in which students have the opportunity to discover how they can reflect the image of God utilizing their God-given gifts and talents.

INTERNSHIPS

Internships provide an opportunity for students to observe and experience different vocational settings and explore areas where they may feel called prior to making college decisions.

Our hope is that internships will help students see how God has equipped them to glorify Christ in the workplace.

TRIPS

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors have exciting opportunities to travel domestically or internationally. These trips are conceptualized, created, and coordinated by our faculty and staff. J-Term trips vary in their focus from educational to service to missions.

Trips provide unique learning experiences in other cultures as students serve others and tell them the truth of God’s story.
